The Demons opened their 2012-2013 season with 3 wins Saturday night, kicking off what intends to be a big rivalry with the Richmond Robins at the Minor League level.
The Demons Black Minor Squad fell to the Robins in game 1 4-1, but bounced right back winning game 2 8-1. Joe Dangelantonio led the way with 5 goals in game 2, with his brother Nick kicking in 4 assists. Dominic Denker is already contributing, as he scored his first goal on American soil, after arriving last week from Namibia.
The Demons Elite team blanked the Robins 3-0 and 10-0, as JJ Fichter led the way with 4 goals on the night, with everyone registering a point in the two games.
The Demons Orange Minor team fell to the Robins in both games, 3-0 and 2-0. Defensively responsible, but missing a scoring touch, the team will look to rebound today against the Bandits.
Sunday action kicks off at 9:30 am against the Pittsburgh Bandits, with all three teams in action.
