Demons Announce 2013-2014 Season

The Delco Demons are happy to announce the return of their program for the 2013-2014 season in the AIHL.  Following the most successful season in recent league history, where the Elite and Tier 1 Minor teams won the National Championship, and the Tier 2 Minor team won the MidAtlantic Division Championship, the Demons are looking to return and defend their success in the coming year.

Departing the Demons this year will be Head Coach Brian Sobel, as he returns to Namibia to run their National Program for the next three years.  The Demons have gone out and after an exhaustive search, found Brian’s replacement in Dan Devine.  Dan is a highly respected mind and coach in roller hockey with a wealth of experience in Roller Hockey, and a long history with this region’s players.  We’re looking forward to opening a new era with Dan at the helm, and expect not to miss a beat following in the same standard Brian Sobel started two years ago.

Tryouts for the 2014 Demons teams will be held in October, with details being finalized by early September.  The Demons will also be hosting a fall camp open to anyone considering trying out for the Demons.  This will be an opportunity for players new to the program to get seen by Coach Devine prior to the actual tryouts, with nothing but a chance to get some extra opportunities to show what they can do.  Details on the fall camp will be announced in early August.

There are several holes to be filled on an already successful club, we hope you come out and show what you’re capable of, and join the Demon Nation.
